These terms govern your use of this website and any order you place with CJ Garments LLC, doing business as The Garment Studio, at 655 E Lake Dr, Decatur, GA 30030. By using this site, requesting an order, or dropping off a garment, you accept these terms.
Prices are estimates
Prices shown on this site are our standard rates. Prices subject to change based on fabric. Fabric, construction, condition and any special handling a garment needs are confirmed when we inspect it at drop-off, and the final price may differ from an online estimate as a result.
Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees
Ready in 2 days as standard. Same-day service is available for an additional fee. Same-day and rush depend on the day's volume and the garment — never a guarantee. We confirm before we start. Some structured or delicate garments need longer, whatever tier you pick — paying for rush doesn't override it. We tell you at drop-off before we start. We'll always tell you a realistic pickup time at drop-off, but turnaround can shift with volume, equipment and the garment itself.

Not happy with a garment? Bring it back and we'll re-clean it free.
Garment condition and liability
We inspect garments at drop-off and will flag anything unusual — pre-existing damage, missing care labels, unusual trims, or fabric that carries extra risk in cleaning — before we proceed. Items with no care label, or an unusual or delicate fabric that we take on at your request after that conversation, are accepted at the owner's risk. If a garment is damaged or lost while in our care due to our error, our maximum liability is limited to the item's fair current value, accounting for its age and condition, and not its original purchase or replacement price.
Abandoned property
Items not picked up within 60 days of the date they're ready are considered abandoned, and we may dispose of or donate them, to the extent permitted by Georgia law. We'll try to reach you at the contact details on file before that happens.
What we don't take on
Yes — and we'd rather tell you up front. We don't currently take on wedding gown cleaning or preservation, leather, suede or fur, shoe and handbag repair, area rugs, bridal alterations, or fire, smoke and water restoration. If you have one of those pieces, give us a call at 404-687-0035 and we'll tell you honestly whether we can help.
Payment
Payment is due at pickup unless other arrangements have been made for a commercial or standing account. Ask our counter team about accepted payment methods.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and any dispute arising from them will be handled in the state or federal courts of DeKalb County, Georgia.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the date at the top of this page reflects the latest version. Continuing to use the site or our services after a change means you accept the update.
