CJ Garments LLC, doing business as The Garment Studio ("we," "us," "our"), operates this website and the studio at 655 E Lake Dr, Decatur, GA 30030. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why, and how you can control it. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.
What we collect
We only collect what you type into a form on this site. Depending on which form you use, that may include your name, email address, phone number, ZIP code or neighbourhood, the service you're interested in, and any message or notes you add. We do not ask for payment information, garment photos beyond what you choose to upload, or government identification through this website.
What we do with form submissions
Every form on this site submits to a single, server-validated pipeline. A copy is routed to our studio inbox so a real person can respond — an order request, a contact message, a fitting request, a survey answer, or a signup for opening updates. We use that information to respond to you, to schedule or fulfill the service you asked about, and, where you've said yes to it, to send you offers or updates. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to any third party, and we do not use form submissions to build advertising profiles.
Cookies and analytics
This site may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages get used and whether the site is working correctly — things like page views and general location by city, not individual tracking across other websites. We do not run advertising pixels that build a profile of you for ad targeting, and we do not sell analytics data.
How long we keep it
Enquiry and order-request data is kept only as long as it's useful for customer service and our own records — generally no longer than a few years — and is then deleted or anonymized. If you become a customer, information tied to an actual order is kept in line with normal recordkeeping for a small business.
Third parties who process data on our behalf
We use a small number of service providers to run this site and respond to you: an email delivery provider to route form submissions to our inbox, a hosting provider to serve the website, and, if enabled, a basic web analytics provider. Each only receives the minimum data needed to do that job, and none are permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what information we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email support@thegarmentstudio.com or call 404-687-0035 and we'll handle it directly — there's no automated system to navigate.
Children's privacy
This website is intended for adults arranging garment care and laundry services. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we will delete it.
Georgia and U.S. law
We are a small business operating solely out of Decatur, Georgia, and this policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia and applicable U.S. federal law. We don't knowingly sell personal information as defined under any state privacy law.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
